2019 Bednarik Vineyard - Pinot noir
Decanter Review - 95 Points
Tasted by: Clive Pursehouse, US Editor (at Seattle, 19 Nov 2022)
Drinking Window: 2023 - 2033
A beautifully elegant Pinot Noir from the own-rooted Bednarik Vineyard, planted in 1988 in the newly designated Tualatin Hills AVA. Aromatics exude suggestions of dusty raspberry, spearmint and forest floor. The palate is energetic, with lively notes of red fruit. Flavours of fresh herbs, mint and bright cranberry encase faint hints of pine bough, black tea and sweet, bright cherry. The finish lingers long.
